The Butterfly Project is a missionary arm of Grace and Power Ministries. Our purpose is to empower women across the world. It is our mission to assist in transforming families and communities through the grace and power of God, partnership, and education. To accomplish this, we travel abroad to conduct women's conferences and trainings, as well as, engage the women in dialog to discover their needs and their God-given gifts to meet those needs. Where there is community, ideas, initiative, and communication, the possibilities for partnership are boundless. We work with local ministries to identify leaders, for change, and their willingness to disciple others. It is our belief that lasting transformation must be duplicated in others if generational poverty is to be replaced by economic growth and development.
The Butterfly Project
The butterfly is a symbol of beauty, transformation and resilience. We are eager to speak of creatures like the eagle, but did you know that only the Monarch butterfly can fly across the Atlantic Ocean non-stop? The resilience of these women should be encouraged and celebrated as they become who they were designed to be, from the beginning. That is why we believe the name is fitting.
